...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers inIllinois...Missouri...Mississippi River at Canton.Mississippi River at Winfield.Mississippi River at Saverton.Mississippi River at Hannibal.Mississippi River at Clarksville.Mississippi River at Louisiana.River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecastprecipitation for the next 24 hours.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Mississippi River at Hannibal.* WHEN...Until further notice.* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, The Corps of Engineers begins flood fightprocedures. At this level, preparations are made to install twoflood gates at Hill Street and Center Street if the forecastexceeds 20.5 feet.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 9:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 18.9 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 9:15 PM CDT Saturday was 18.9 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.9feet just after midnight tonight.- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
