Talk about an environmentalist.
One man in Argentina has spent the last 20 years building a house of recycled bottles. 6 million empty bottles of beer, water, champagne, apple cider and wine went into constructing this 'bottle mansion.'
And it's a mansion indeed.
The home includes a bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom.
Wondering how it all began?
The idea came from similar recyled homes he saw in a magazine. And he hopes more people hop on board.
“I hope people will copy it and stop living in those shacks that are so horrible. They can build shacks, but artistically. Where each person builds according to their own style.”
And construction isn't over yet.
A guesthouse shaped like a lighthouse is next on the list. All the bottles were taken from the garbage and stuck together with some mortar and cement.
