Dust devil hurls shed in China

April 28, 2013 — Security cameras catch the moment a dust devil hurls a shed across a yard in China.
Saturday looked like a regular day at this warehouse somewhere in China's Gansu province, if this security camera footage posted to LiveLeak
is anything to go by.
Certainly, the two men walking in the foreground at the beginning of the video don't seem to think anything's out of the ordinary -- but as soon as they're out of the frame, that's when a good-sized dust devil sneaks onto the scene at around the 18-second mark.
We never get a good glimpse of it, but it was obviously strong enough to grab ahold of a shed and fling it right at the camera.
Dust devils are generally weak on Earth, although some are believed to boast winds as strong as an EF0 tornado.
There have been a handful of cases where they have been strong enough to cause property damage and even fatalities, although it is very rare for a dust devil to cause death or injury.
They have even been known to occur on Mars.
