It doesn't look much like spring in Eugene, Oregon.

A winter storm dumped significant snow Wednesday, creating a big mess for drivers to slug through.

The heavy snow also brought down power lines, causing outages.

The University of Oregon had to close for part of the day because of downed trees and power outages.

While the storm created some headaches for grown-ups, kids made the most of their snow day.

According to The National Weather Service, this was the biggest snowfall in Eugene so late in the season.
