Freezing rain, ice pellets and snow.
A wintery mix is affecting much of Quebec on Monday.
"The same system that's been bringing freezing rain and poor driving conditions to parts of Ontario, will continue to deliver a messy mix to much of Quebec," says Brian Dillon, a meteorologist at The Weather Network. "That means drivers should leave plenty of extra time for the commute and brace for deteriorating road conditions as well."
As temperatures continue to warm up through the day, precipitation will change to rain. In central Quebec however, significant snowfall is expected.

Snowfall forecast through Tuesday
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning with up to 20 cm of snow expected in the hardest hit places through Tuesday.
That combined with gusty winds could reduce visibility significantly on the roads.
As a result, drivers are urged to adjust their driving habits accordingly and avoid any unnecessary travel if possible.
Drivers have until December 15 to have winter tires installed on their vehicle.
Quebec's Highway Safety Code requires all drivers to have winter tires from December 15 until March 15, 2013. Those found driving without them could face a fine up to $300.
