Hitting the slopes on British Columbia's first-ever Family Day

February 13, 2013 — British Columbia celebrated its first-ever Family Day on February 11th and the excitement at Grouse Mountain was hard to contain.

Starting with a pancake breakfast that fuelled people of all ages and continuing with activities that lasted throughout the day, there was certainly no shortage of things to do at Grouse Mountain.

For those too small to hit the slopes, activities like ice skating and snow painting kept the little ones entertained.

Regardless of the chosen activity, Grouse officials were more than happy to see families spending the day together. For many, BC's inaugural Family Day was a huge success.
