September 22, 2012 — NASA's hubble telescope has captured a perfect side-way view of a spiral galaxy, 70 million light years away.

The NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope has captured a perfect sideways view of NGC 4634.

In the image, a "halo" can be seen surrounding the spiral galaxy.

According to NASA, the haze is actually a bright pink nebulae, comprised of gas clouds that will eventually become stars.

Radiation from the stars ignite the gas clouds, creating a hazy effect.
