Staff writers
November 18, 2012 — Take a look at this video, shot yesterday in Batemans Bay, New South Wales, Australia!

A waterspout about 200 metres wide was spotted offshore in eastern Australia on Saturday.

According to local media, the spout was the grand finale in a day of wild weather.

Several storms lashed the region, damaging at least dozen homes and leaving 8,000 residents without power.

Eyewitnesses say the water funnel lasted for about ten minutes before collapsing.
