April 3, 2010 — On April 3 and 4, 1974, a historic weather event took place in South-Western Ontario and across a number of American States. Known as the “Super Outbreak,“ 148 confirmed tornadoes touched down within eighteen hours. In it's wake, more than 315 people were killed. In Ontario, 9 people were killed in the Windsor area.
