Competitors skate down a large ice track
Imagine a sport where competitors battle it out shoulder to shoulder as they plunge down a track made of ice.
It's called the Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championship and its next stop is in Niagara Falls.
"It's probably the most exciting thing you've ever seen," says Crashed Ice expert Claudio Caluori. "Four guys at a time down a track that's hard to skate down even if you're alone, so four at a time is going to be ridiculous."
Caluori has spent hours testing the track to make sure everything is safe for the competition this weekend.
"So you can call me the crash test dummy," he laughs. "I've spent six hours and I have a couple of bruises on me already. It's tough."
Red Bull developed the concept of the sport in Stockholm, Sweden over 10 years ago. Four skaters begin at the top of the track in a race through several jumps, twists and turns.

The Weather Network caught up with participant Shane Nuttley who is excited for the challenge ahead.
"The course itself is demanding and it has got a few twists and turns, which is great because it allows for a lot more tighter racing," says Nuttley.
And in terms of weather, organizers say Saturday's forecast is looking promising.
Temperatures are forecast to hit 7°C, which is ideal for the competitors and the track itself.
"The warmer it is, the faster the ice is because it just makes everything smoother. So it's going to be good," says Caluori.
