Bring your camera!
Recent mild temperatures have had many Ontarians believing that spring has arrived.
For many, that means it's time to get started on the garden. And if you need a little inspiration, there's an event happening this weekend that could help you out.
"What Canada Blooms is all about is seeing spring, getting involved in spring and getting inspired by spring before it actually arrives," says Mark Cullen of Canada Blooms.
The event at Toronto's Direct Energy Centre boasts 6 acres of 36 feature gardens. In its 10 days, there are 200 hours of educational seminars, a floral competition and loads of shopping.
If you're planning on checking out Canada Blooms, Cullen has some advice.
"Wear good shoes! Wear flat-soled shoes because you're going to do a lot of walking," he says. "Bring your digital camera, bring a notebook, bring an open mind. You're going to be exposed to a lot of great ideas to include in your own garden."
Canada Blooms runs from March 16 - 25.
