April 1, 2010 — You've got to see this! Click the video on the left for a look at this week's top ten weather videos.

We get a lot of footage each week here at The Weather Network, so we decided to share our favourites with you today. Here is our top ten list of the weather videos that had people talking in Canada and around the world this week.

  • #10 -- Heavy rain in the Maritimes. It was a soggy week to say the least! This video comes from Montcon, New Brunswick, where 17mm of rain fell in a very short period of time.
  • #9 -- Cherry Blossoms in Tokyo, Japan. It's a sure sign of spring! The trees are in bloom, and people from all over the world are checking them out.
  • #8 -- Toronto goes dark for Earth Hour. The skyline of Canada's largest city plunged into darkness on Saturday night for the global WWF event.
  • #7 -- Sydney, Australia goes dark for Earth Hour. This is where it all began back in 2007. And once again, the city was one of the first to dim the skyline in 2010.
  • #6 -- Earthquake damage in Chile. Weeks after a series of powerful earthquakes rocked the country, the damage is still visible in many places.
