
Tornado warnings and watches were widespread across west-central Saskatchewan on Friday afternoon.
On Monday, Environment Canada confirmed that eight tornadoes touched down during the pre-weekend storm.
Twitter was abuzz with pictures of severe weather in the province. Multiple tornado and funnel cloud sightings were reported near Luseland, Kerrobert, Unity, Wilkie, Biggar, Milden, Perdue, Asquith, Delisle, Borden, and Saskatoon.
While no injuries reported, some farmland was damaged.
Over in Cactus Lake, 80 mm of rain fell and a wind gust of 93 km/h was reported in Scott.
Golf ball sized hail was reported in Warman.
