VIDEO: Italy's Mount Etna erupts

February 20, 2013 — Mount Etna put on a fantastic display this week, erupting for the first time in 2013.
Mount Etna has been showing signs of an eruption for some time, but it waited until this week.
Video of the spectacular display was posted to the Internet, where it has gone viral -- garnering tens of thousands of views within hours.
Known as one of the world's most active volcanoes, Etna is located near the town of Catalina. While it erupts regularly, it rarely causes any damage to nearby residents.
The volcano's last eruption was on April 24, 2012.
