March 24, 2010 — Feeling relaxed after the long weekend? Check out how Canadians spent Victoria Day across the country.
Hot in the east, cold in the west. Victoria Day split the country in two weather-wise.
From snow in Alberta to rain in Saskatchewan, it was a stormy long weekend in the Prairies. Moving east, thunderstorms rumbled into Manitoba and northern Ontario.
At the same time, northern Ontario was sweltering, with humidity making temperatures feel like 40. It is still hot and humid right across the east, but the Maritimes will be the first to cool off. Temperatures are dropping on the East coast on Tuesday.
