It wasn't just the turkeys that were roasting on Thanksgiving weekend of 2007.

Southern Ontario basked in temperatures well above seasonal, prompting some people to head to the beach.

Toronto reached a high of 31.6C on October 8 - the city's warmest October day on record. Record highs were also set in Windsor, Sarnia and Hamilton - just to name a few.

The warmth was sadly limited to just the southern part of the province. Ottawa only reached a high of 14C that same day.
