Spring of 2008 will go down in history in New Brunswick. Heavy rain caused the St. John River to overflow its banks. Hundreds of residents were forced from their homes. The rushing floodwater was relentless. It caused 24 million dollars in damages -- the worst flooding people here had endured since 1973.
