Weather History

April 15, 2010 — Another day, another round of weather history. There are a couple events from this day that still have people talking.

On April 15th, 1984, Terrace, B.C. experienced an intense wind storm. Gusts as high as 124 km/h capsized fishing vessels and sailboats.

Meanwhile, it was the opposite story in Deer Lake, Newfoundland. The area hit a high of 19.6 degrees. That's still the record temperature for the date. Quite the contrast from the snow they're seeing now.
