Earthquake Shake Up Alaska

April 10, 2010 — 4.8 magnitude quake rumbles Anchorage.

Anchorage and other southern communities get shaken up by a 4.8 magnitude quake early Saturday morning.

There have been no damages reported.

The U.S. Geological Survey says it was most strongly felt in the Valdez area.

It was centered approximately 160 kilometers east-northeast of Anchorage and 40 kilometers south of Nelchina. It was about 30 kilometers deep.
