It was looking and feeling a little more like Fall on Thursday in St. John's, Newfoundland. The area saw showers and temperatures on the cool side. There was even a risk for some frost through the overnight hours.

The day time high for the day only reached nine degrees, which is well below seasonal for this time of year. The good news is that the long range forecast is showing lots of promise.

“We'll be seeing mainly sunny skies and temperatures where they should be right through the weekend and into next week,” explains Cassar.

And it's not just Newfoundland looking at clear skies and mild temperatures next week. Conditions are looking warm, dry and sunny through the Maritimes, as well.

“We're looking at warm temperatures without the sticky humidity,” says Cassar. “It's a great forecast for anyone looking to spend some time outdoors.”
