Australia's third largest city is coping with intense flooding today, after close to 80 millimetres of rain fell in less than one hour.
Washed out roads led to all kinds of traffic delays. Within minutes of the rain starting, some parked cars were submerged in water.
At one point, about 60,000 people had no electricity. Power crews are still working to get everyone back online.
Australian meteorologists are calling this the region's biggest rainfall since 2001.
Last week, flood waters were causing problems in both Sydney and Melbourne.
