October 27, 2010 — It's that time of the year again! Halloween is just around the corner and the biggest question remains, do you know what you're wearing? Kelly Noseworthy hit the costume shops to find out.

All Hallows Eve is definitely regarded as one of the most fun holidays because it's all about dressing up and pretending. However, the weather should be one of the deciding factors when you're figuring out your scary ensemble.

If you're planning on taking your children trick or treating, it's probably best to bundle them up, because going door to door takes a considerable amount of time. “She's got an outfit that has a long sleeve jumper underneath,” says one shopping mother.

Pamela Fuselli from Safe Kids Canada says, “Make sure they're wearing something that will keep the heat against their gloves.”

Of course, another important part of Halloween, is finding the perfect pumpkin for carving. As well, there are some ways you can be environmentally friendly this year when you're out trick or treating or when picking your disguise.
