NASA's Launch A Success

Laurissa Anyas-Weiss, content producer

February 7, 2010 — Low clouds forced NASA to postpone space shuttle Endeavour's launch Sunday morning, but all was good on Monday.

It was a great way to start the week.

At 4:14 a.m. , the dark Florida sky turned bright as day while Endeavour blasted off from the Kennedy Space Centre.

Cloud cover scrubbed Sunday's attempt due to safety regulations. There were still some scattered clouds that threatened visibility on Monday, but the flight was able to clear the safety rules.

Endeavour's main mission is to deliver a new room and an observation deck to the International Space Station.
