Exploding maple trees keep syrup producers hopping

April 1, 2011 — Maple syrup producers are racing against the clock to relieve the pressure in their trees before they blow their bark and branches off. It's already April 1st and producers like Brent Trites are rushing to get the exploding tree situation under control. Shelley Steeves reports from Stilesville, New Brunswick.
