Foggy morning for southern Ontario

May 14, 2010 — It's definitely warming up across the province! Much of southern Ontario is blanketed in a thick layer of fog this morning.

Be careful on your drive to work this morning

Much of southern Ontario has been engulfed in a dense swirl of fog. The foggy patches formed overnight because of the moist airmass and light winds.

Be wary when you're on the road this morning, because visibility could be less than half a kilometre depending on where you are. In some areas, the fog patches are so heavy, visibility could be as low as zero at times. Motorists are being advised to drive slower and take extra precaution.

Conditions are set to improve later this morning as the winds increase across the region.
