One of Toronto's main roads is closed on a holiday long weekend.
The Gardiner Expressway is scheduled to reopen on Victoria Day Monday at 8 a.m.
The city of Toronto says the Gardiner had to be shut down in both directions, and from beginning to end, for annual spring maintenance.
The highway, between Humber River to Carlaw Avenue, has been closed since Saturday morning.
On other roads, Ontario Provincial Police officers are keeping a close eye on drivers during a Victoria Day long weekend safety blitz.
