Over the weekend, the unsettled system brought widespread rain to the Maritimes and Newfoundland and it's not finished yet.

The blast of rain also helped to increase humidity, making conditions feel sticky and slightly uncomfortable.
Patio weather isn't likely for today either. The region is expected to get another round of rain, and there's a risk of non-severe thundershower cells firing up. Meanwhile, St. John's, Newfoundland will likely dodge the wet weather, but overcast skies remain in place throughout the day.
