A low pressure system thatís hovering over southern Manitoba and northern Ontario currently is set to make its way to eastern and southern Ontario on Wednesday.
That same system hit areas in northern Ontario, like Kenora, with lots of rain. And, when allís said and done, Kenora is expected to get up to 50 mm of rain.
The low pressure system will greet the Greater Toronto Area by the late afternoon hours. It will subsequently move into parts of Quebec and eastern Ontario in the overnight hours on Thursday.
According to Rob Davis, a meteorologist at The Weather Network, most parts of Ontario are going to receive a fair amount of rain.
“The system will represent a rainier pattern for us for the next few days,” says Davis.
There will be a bit of a break from rain for most Ontarians, but it should return on Friday and stay into the weekend.
The temperatures wonít be affected by the rain, as they are expected to remain seasonal.
