After next to no snow this past winter, it looks like the Great Lakes are being affected. Water levels are measuring slightly below the usual averages.
Georgian Bay levels are 25 centimeters below long-term averages, while Lake Erie is about 13 centimeters below.
Meanwhile, Lake Ontario levels are also down. The Toronto Port Authority says it's about 20 centimeters lower than it should be at the beginning of spring. It's not being seen as a major concern.
However, St. Lawrence Seaway managers, disagree. They are said to be closely monitoring the situation.
